I am back to pretty much chain smoking, but trying to decide whether to just quit at the end of this year or not, it has to happen sooner or later! Seeing my niece smoke is the major factor so hopefully I can get her to stop with me! Going to relax and enjoy the rest of he year and next year get super fit and run some more marathons! | | | | London marathon | wrote | | People keep asking me how I did. Well I got 3:09, which was a PB but I was hoping to get under three hours. Done a couple of half marathons since in 1:28 and 1:27 so I'm running pretty well at the moment. Hoping to enter another marathon later this year and go for the 3 hours! | | | | Smoking | wrote | | For those that are asking... I have semi quit smoking. I don't smoke every day and I smoke nowhere near as much as I used to! My friends and family still come round and smoke in my house, but I don't have any, until they are gone :-( Anyway, from 40 a day to 20 is saving me a lot of money and I feel a lot fitter. Think it will be a gradual quitting for me. The problem is I just love smoking too much! | | | | Quitting Smoking! | wrote | | So I decided, I will quit smoking on the 31st December! So only about 2000 cigarettes to go, so will make sure I enjoy every one of them. I think it will be easy, but having smoked for my entire life maybe it'll be harder than I think. I absolutely love everything about smoking, but I can't do it forever! Most of my friends smoke and both my sisters smoke so there is going to be a lot of temptation! But I know it is the right thing to do, anyway best go home and enjoy my smoking while I still x | | | | Last run of the year | wrote | | Doing the Yorkshire marathon on Sunday. Feeling good, hoping to beat my PB of 3:15. Then I can relax over winter! | | | | 5 entries | | |
