In my own words
I once was a language expert for the army but moved onwards to Leeds university. I toured Iraq with the Army but had enough after a while. One positive is that it makes you appreciate what matters in life, rather than the shallow things that people seem to like. I've travelled loads around the Middle East and Europe but now I'm on a gap year from Leeds university to do some work out there again. I like to write as well and just got a publishing deal for a book I'm jointly writing with three friends. I'm also into running and last year did the Marrakesh marathon to raise money for a children's hospice. I don't really like unreliable people or people who waste their time - I believe we're only here once and I intend to make the most of it. If it feels good, do it I think. x |
