In my own words
Just started my third year studying Journalism at the University of Sunderland. I love my course, and I love living in the North :)
I live in a student house with six of my friends - it's an eternal mess and there's never a moment's peace but we wouldn't have it any other way :P And even though I come from the South and thus think the North is absolutely **freezing!!**, I do love Northern accents, and I want someone to teach me how to speak like a Geordie :P
I work in a bookies but I'm considering a change (insofar as that is possible in a recession lol). But the good news is that I'm not going back to the South again, after university is done with I'll be moving to Newcastle/Sunderland permanently :D |
My Pet Hate...
...is the air travel rule that states you are not allowed to carry bottles of liquids that exceed 100ml - I live in Portsmouth and go to university in Sunderland, so I have to fly between Southampton and Newcastle Airports between semesters. I could get away with just taking hand luggage if I didn't have to pack shampoo, conditioner, deodorant etc all into a suitcase! This is what happens when you let the gays work in aviation! lol |
