In my own words
My overal views are formed by a haphazard combination of somewhat liberal existentialism and armchair Taoism. I believe in right and wrong and free will. I'm totally in touch with my emotions, but sometime it's good to let go. I see myself as a victim, and I can be a lot more insecure than I let on. (This isn't really my view but I'll let Natasha have that one.) I have exhibitionist tendencies, but I'm terribly undemonstrative. I don't have the energy for other people's problems even though I'm a humanist. I have a tendency for being self-absorbed or at least unwitting of the needs of others. I can be a slave to routine -- other times I am not. (Work that one out.) I tend to watch my own life like a television show. In many ways I'm just like everyone else. I'm terrified of being ordinary. A pedant, or even esoteric. Don't be nonplussed by my grandiloquence |
