In my own words
Come here often?
Pre covid I enjoyed going to gigs, the pub, festivals, going to Indian, Spanish or trashy restaurants and stuffing my face while having a laugh with friends; visiting art museums, pottering about London and generally having a nice old time.
These days I have become something of a
Emily Dickinson-esque recluse in the arse of the UK. I like walking on the beach or in the woods with my dog or my family, rewatching my favourite shows and films, drawing, writing, playing Tetris, completing Mario games on the snes, listening to music pretty much all the time (fave music at the minute is Idles, Orville Peck, Pup, Spanish Love Songs, Phoebe Bridgers, Protomartyr, Molchat Doma, 80s pop and goth).
I guess I'm looking for butterflies in the pit of my stomach and for the stars to align. Friendship is good too.
PS: I developed an allergy to alcohol this year. Yes I'm gutted haha. |
