I had Mum and Nana up for a visit yesterday and what was the first thing I did? I left my handbag on the bus with my doorkeys, purse, mobly, the lot in it! What was worse, I realised it when the bus pulled away and I couldn't stop the thing!
After crying for 10 minutes, and lost property not helping, I called my mobly from my mum's phone to find it was ringing. 10 minutes later, the bus driver called my mum to say he had my bag!
There are decent people out there : | | | | Bored, Bored, Bored! | wrote | | Hiya all,
I've now been living in MK for 6 months, though I really hated being whetre I was before, I didn't think I would miss it that much. From the daily arguments with my older brother to my gorgeous kitties, and my nana's rock hard soda bread - my mother calls up so often it's unreal, and I'm often too busy at work to take the call. I find it hard to get around as I don't drive either! lol!
I didn't think I would be missed that much when I left home...
Looks like I was wrong :'o( | | | | Oooh! Valentine's Day! | wrote | | I'm rather pleased with myself, I have been up since 1 in the morning making Martin's Valentine's card (though I think primary schooler would have done better!)
Plans for the evening? We ditched the idea of going out for dinner to watch the FA cup replay, a takeaway, some popcorn and a few drinks in front of his HDTV! I admit, I was a bit whiney about the prospect of missing the match so we chopped and changed plans quite a bit!
What heaven! Who said romance is dead? | | | | A winter's Tale... | wrote | | Once Upon a time, 5 hours ago, a young maiden had risen from her slumber to see a wonderful snowdrift, Oh what a wonderful scene she said. She decided to dress and head out to the Grand Palace, just outside the bustling town to work. She excitedly waited outside for chariot number 23 to whisk her to the palace.
Just over an hour later, with no chariot, or personal cabs available for over 2 hours, and the maiden's knight was in a deep sleep to rescue her - I've decided I now hate the cold! | | | | Late trains, crashed servers, and NO COFFEE! | wrote | | I hate Wednesdays, after dragging myself out of bed at 5.30 am for work in the London Operations (visits there are once in a Blue Moon, thank God!) - only to find that I could have spent another half hour in bed due to the trains being very much delayed. When I finally made my appearance at work (and not too late!), the servers had been down, so I can't to anything, and there's no coffee either!
I hope this isn't the shape of the rest of the day... :o( | | | | 5 entries | | |
