They walked onstage to rapturous applause and opened with Sentimental (from the Nil Recurring EP) and then followed 2 of my all time favourite tracks, Drownwithme and then Starsdie. Fuckin' fantastic. Looking forward to the new live album and DVD and the first 'solo' album from Steven Wilson. What an amzingly talented musician. Barstard! Lol. | | | | Explosions In The Sky | wrote | | Went to the Astoria in London on Wednesday to see EITS. Awesome wall of noise that these guys from Texas create. | | | | Morning | wrote | | I look at profiles on FP and have to laugh. What is it with people and bad spelling, for example 'thanx'. For gods sake spell it right you fuckwits. Or do you all think you are being funny and 'wid it'! Do these people spell words wrong while at work etc. If they did they wouldn't be working for me.
And on a lighter note, Leeds United won again last night. | | | | Happy New Year | wrote | | Hope everyone had a great New Years Eve and that you have all recovered by now. January is a very depressing month - nothing to look forward to apart from pay day which is a long way off although I am going to see 'Explosions In The Sky' at the Astoria in London towards the end of the month. Not made any resolutions this year as I don't want to break any ha ha. | | | | This weekend | wrote | | Oh well it's friday morning which means the weekend starts in about 8 hours. Off to see my old muckers in Newbury tonight for the weekend. Got a poker night planed for tomorrow evening before we watch Ricky Hatton wipe the floor with Mayweather. And somewhere along the line I expect to sink a few pints. Taking my dog Teddy with me to Newbury for the first time and my mate whose house I stay at has got 3 cats so it should be an interesting weekend lol. | | | | 5 entries | | |
