Tis Lammas, the start of the harvest festival :o) celebrate the fruits of nature by eating cereals & grains, nuts & seeds & this can include chocolate & beer so invite family & friends round & have a party! if you are so inclined pay respects to the 5 elements, ground yourself to mother earth, think back over the past year & look forwards to a fruitful harvest to take you through the winter months ahead... bright blessings o x

On Saturday I went to the Bleasdale Circle as part of a Stones & Circles of Pre-historic Britain course. It is one of less than 100 timber circles in the British Isles (there are over a 1,000 known stone circles). The outer timber circle is hard to see now but the inner one & ditch are very clear. In the middle is a single stone that marks the burial chamber. In it was found 2 urns & a small bowl with ashes & bones. I now have myself a 1,000 word assignment to do on the site. Blessings to all :)
