In my own words

I smile a lot, I tell awful jokes and don't care if no-one laughs, I appreciate good manners, I have an oppressive mortgage (is there any other kind?), I'm calm and collected, I hold doors open for people, I have a sense of adventure, I gave up alcohol over three years ago (apart from having a glass of wine with a meal every now and then), I enjoy good quality chocolate and real coffee, I love Sci-Fi but don't get to watch it much, I have a pair of guitars I'd really like to learn how to play, I bake cakes, I do a few passable numbers on the karaoke, I moisturise & exfoliate, I like sushi, my car is much less impressive than the one I'm posing next to in the picture, I eat healthily most of the time, I have a positive outlook on life and a glint of mischief in my eyes....

Not changed the blog in ages....

It looks like the Parkour is doing me good - so many people are asking me if I've lost weight and telling me I look pretty trim, I think a change from 'medium build, muscles' to 'slim, toned' is justified! After my horrendous week of having no car, I intend to never be in the same situation EVER again. Public transport is even slower and more rubbish than I remember it being when I was at school. I'm extremely grateful to those good people who have gone out of their way to give me lifts! :o)
