In my own words
I run my own business, an entertainment agency. I am also a professional stand up comedian which have been doing for 14 years and I'm in love with it. I like all the normal things: pubs, clubs, restaurants, etc. I swim four times a week and I am also into keep fit. I am quite a disciplined person but also fun loving. I believe that for me to be truly happy I have to have a cross section of the things that make me happy. Balance is the key. Obsession invariably brings unhappiness. I think that through out the course of our lives things can warp us out of shape,bad relationships,difficulties with family,drink, drugs,lost dreams etc I feel that inspite of what ever has happened, our real aim should be to become the person we were meant to be..In other words not let the negatives define who we are.
Years of being a stand up comedian have taught me, we learn more from pain than we do from pleasure. |
In A Perfect World...
... I wouldn't work any more and I would spend my time focusing on the things that really make me happy and trying to be the best Clyde West that I could be.
