In my own words
Hey people I'm Mark (aka Parrot) and I come from Dumbarton (not the most exciting place in the world). I work as a pipefitter/welder for bae systems in the scotstoun shipyard (up at 6 a.m. every day!). I'm also studying for my HND in Mechanical Engineering at Anniesland College with a view to going to uni next year (who says goalies are daft eh?). Just recently retired from playing football age 22 (am sure the game will get over its loss! lol) where i was a number 1 goalkeeper, not quite the holy goalie but was not bad got a few medals. These days i just have to make do playing five's with the crew where instead am playing with legends like gray and dougal (how you know when your careers over). Anyway the most important thing i enjoy is going out at the weekend and having a few pints most likely to find me in the waverly and ( if drunk enough) cheers but prefer glasgow or balloch. |
