Akasha is a professional belly dancer with over 5 years experience. She discovered Middle Eastern dance in 2007 at the tender age of 18 and fell in love with her first dance teacher's style, the beautiful Sitara, founder of the highly acclaimed Eastern Roses Dance Troupe.
She has been invited to perform at many belly dance bookings and events.
Akasha spent 2 years in the professional dance troupe expanding her repertoire to new forms of dance and skills such as fan veils and Isis wings.
As a child she was extensively trained in gymnastics and enjoyed incorporating ballet choreography with floor work giving her a great foundation for belly dance.
Akasha has also participated in many dance and musical productions even gaining a lead role in Westside Story.She was even awarded a dancer of the ye |

Everybody would be treated as equals I dont like the way some people are narrow minded and judge you as a person by your appearance ... Whether your black/white/asian etc I'm a huge believer in equality/justice. |
