In my own words
I am no one special, just a common man with common thoughts.I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me,and my name will soon be forgotten.I've loved another with all my heart and soul,and for me, that has always been enough.
First, I'm trying to prove to myself that I'm a person. Then maybe I'll convince myself that I'm an actor.
Every man is said to have his peculiar ambition. Whether it be true or not, I can say for one that I have no other so great as that of being truly esteemed of my fellow men, by rendering myself worthy of their esteem.
I have feelings too. I am still human. All I want is to be loved, for myself and for my talent.
When I am getting ready to reason with a man, I spend one-third of my time thinking about myself and what I am going to say and two-thirds about him and what he is going to say.
While I know myself as a creation of God, I am also obligated to realize and remember |
