In my own words
I guess the saying 'patience is a virtue' is true, that 'good things come to those who wait' well, if I am to be honest I have never been one to wait for anything, always believing that in order to succeed in life, to have the things we want, we must go out and grab them, take the bull by the horns. Yet now, and rather strangely, I find myself having to wait for the very thing I want, the one thing that right now appears unattainable, and almost certainly out of my reach. Sitting back and waiting is a new concept to me, I always want something yesterday. But also I know, that what I am waiting for will be worth every second, that every minute and day I have been biting my nails in anticipation will be all the better, and more worthwhile. Only one other knows exactly what I mean by this, but that is the only other that matters. |

| | | Insomnia seems to be the directive course upto now, sleep is almost certainly evading me, and maybe even sticking its fingers up at me. I feel wiped out, mashed into a shattered pulp, and yet when the time comes for me to close my weary eyes and get a few hous kip, I suddenly become all bright eyed and bushy tailed, whilst still being utterly zonked! I'm beginning to think that coffee is the devil and several cups during the day may not be such a good idea after all (ya think?!) hmm.. |
