In my own words
I was born in Korea and raised in northern Chile. I am looking to make some friends in or around the NYC area for this Summer (May - Aug 2008), especially around Bayside, Queens, which is where I will be staying.
My first language is Spanish, and I know enough English to get me through journalism school. My Korean sounds foreign and the syntax is equivalent to a five-year-old kid's, but I've survived alone in Korea for a few days.
I like magazines (thinkies and laddies) and I don't have a television.
My goal in life, as of now, is to live a life that doesn't embarrass my parents when they compare offspring's achievements with other Korean older people. And to win a Nobel Prize someday. |
